Woodwind instruments need regular maintenance work and pad replacements. Save your money by cleaning moisture and saliva out of your instrument with a pull-through swab, to keep your pads clean and dry, to keep metal from corroding and from growing mould and fungi in wooden bores.
This swab is specifically for the upper joint of your Oboe and is made of highly absorptive bamboo and silk material. Pull-through once or twice after playing. It is hand washable and should last about 5 years.
