Repair Pricing

Standard Repairs:
R840.00 per hour
(Minimum charge R420.00 incl. VAT)

Emergency Repairs (While You Wait):
R980.00 per hour incl. VAT
Includes bent key alignment, pad seating, spring replacement, and minor urgent fixes.

All pricing is estimated. A quote will be provided after we’ve assessed the instrument. Work begins only after your approval.

Basset/Bass Clarinet - Student	R4,250 - R6,000

Check and adjust. Repair as necessary, re-straightening and realignment of keys, replacing 1–2 pads, springs, corks. Tighten and secure all pivot screws and shafts.

Includes full disassembly, key cleaning, corrosion removal, tone hole maintenance, and replacement of 6–8 pads, corks, and springs. Reassembly and lubrication included.

Complete key removal, pad/cork/spring replacement, swedging worn tubes, burnishing, tone hole repair, and key balancing. Final lubrication and play-testing included.
