Rovner ligatures allow your reed to vibrate more freely than standard metal-ring ligatures and thus allow for greater projection of sound, better responsiveness and more accurate intonation. Rovner ligatures will also reduce air leakage from the mouthpiece facing, reduce squeaks and extend the life-span of your reeds.

The 1RXS ligature is mainly for hard rubber sopraninio mouthpieces, but also works for very small metal soprano mouthpieces.
